Less than a decade ago, advanced melanoma was fatal but thanks to Professors Georgina Long and Richard Scolyer's immunotherapy approach it has become a curable disease. 

After Richard was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer in June 2023, he and Georgina developed a series of world-first treatments based on their melanoma breakthroughs.
