Submit ReviewThis week, we've got our Us Weekly focus on the celebrity involvement in the activism and protests that have surged after the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. We'll be talking about some of the celebrities who are involved in the fight for racial justice — including Rachel Lindsay, Jamie Foxx, Halsey, Ariana Grande, Nick Cannon and Ben Affleck — and those who are using their voices to support the Black Lives Matter movement and highlight police brutality. We were lucky enough to get some time with Porsha Williams, who talked to Us about getting tear-gassed while protesting in Atlanta, fighting for her daughter's future and what white fans of Real Housewives of Atlanta can do to get involved and help out! Of course, we'll also touch on celebs who haven't spoken out or tried to and just did a terrible job with it. Plus, we'll be looking at how celebrities are confronting their own privilege and talking to their kids about racism and George Floyd's death. Mom-to-be Lea Michele came under fire after Glee costar Samantha Ware alleged Lea told everyone she'd "shit in [Samantha's] wig" and expressed other traumatic microaggressions toward Samantha ... so Lea's now apologizing. Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown is also apologizing again for her recent use of a racial slur, while vowing to do better. Join Us Weekly's Brody Brown and some of the magazine's very opinionated staff to hear about these news stories and more.
