Rhiannon Giddens is on her way to Wellington with partner Francesco Turrisi to perform at New Zealand Festival on 4th March. The singer, banjo player and violinist talks to Eva Radich about  recording an experimental album there is no Other last year. The largely improvised music was recorded with the artists playing a mix of Arabian and Western instruments to bring to life gospel, bluegrass, early baroque and Mediterranean music.
