With Rex Airlines administration and rolling back its offering, some are pointing the figure at Qantas, accusing the company of anti-competitive behaviour, something it has long denied.

Former Chair of the ACCC, Rod Sims says that while lots of thing impacted Rex entering voluntary administration, one of the main factors was slot hoarding. He says that the Government "sets the system up for failure" and a duopoly.
