Rewind to 1989 where we were truly introduced to the DARK Knight in Batman. Reporter Alexander Knox (Robert Wuhl) and photojournalist Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) begin to investigate rumours of a vigilante nicknamed "Batman" who is targeting the city's criminals. Batman – the alter ego of billionaire Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) who is on a mission to clear the streets after witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, with the help of trusted butler Alfred (Michael Gough). The psychotic Joker (Jack Nicholson) hatches a plan to kill Gotham’s citizens with a gas and kill them with laughter. Batman makes it his mission to put an end to the scheme.
