After a dead blue whale washed onto Crystal Crescent Beach earlier this month, the Marine Animal Response Society was tasked with removing the carcass. Host Jeff Douglas spoke with Danielle Pinder, the response coordinator, about the process and what will happen to the bones, blubber and eyeball that were extracted from the endangered whale.
