This week, we’re taking a virtual journey to the East End of Long Island! There we’ll meet Amy Zavatto, the Content Director for Southforker Publication; Rory McEvoy, co-owner of Kidd Squid Brewing Company; and Rob Raffa, owner and operator of übergeek Brewing Company.

Amy starts the episode by highlighting what’s special about the Sag Harbor community, and how the only thing missing was a great brewery! In comes Kidd Squid, with their charming tasting room where one can enjoy balanced and delicious beers.

The brewing community is strong on this end of Long Island, also bolstered by the likes of übergeek, who were licensed just two months before the pandemic shut the world down. They navigated those tumultuous waters to come out strong with their off-the-wall products and brick-and-mortar.

Get the scoop on this micro-community of brewers and the awesome projects they’ve got fermenting for the future! Listen to this week’s BSR now!
