And we’ll hear about a new gene therapy breakthrough in treating muscular dystrophy from Penn Medicine professor HANSELL STEDMEN, alongside YUVA GAMBHIR, a student who suffers from muscular dystrophy and aided in the doctor’s research, about the breakthrough muscular dystrophy treatment using gene therapy that his team recently developed. And, Mary will be joined by VALENCIA PETERSON, founder and director of Open Door Abuse Awareness and Prevention, who teaches young kids in Philadelphia area schools about domestic violence, sexual abuse, and to prevent it in their own lives and behavior. One of Peterson’s students, JACQUEZ MABIN, will also tell us about his experiences in and outside of the classroom.
