Connor Wong was a part of the trade package sent to the Red Sox in the Mookie Betts trade with the Dodgers and has been playing with the Worcester Red Sox this season. Wong has seen time in the majors last season and this season but has mainly made an impact in AAA so far. His production at the plate has massively improved from last season to this season which has mixed well with his stellar defense. Wong's current future with the Red Sox is unknown at the moment but he could be a replacement candidate for Christian Vazquez or Kevin Plawecki in 2023.
