The Boston Red Sox cannot seem to figure out the New York Yankees.
The Red Sox fell Friday 5-4 and Saturday 7-5 at Yankee Stadium, but once again held Aaron Judge without a home run.
NESN's Lauren Willand recaps Friday and Saturday's losses but not without talking about Gerrit Cole getting ejected from Friday's game for arguing balls and strikes (the call he was arguing absolutely was a ball, but umpiring was bad on both sides). Lauren also discusses Judge's chase for American League home run history and wonders if Sunday will be the day he finally breaks through after going 1-for-9 through the first three games against the Red Sox.
Later Lauren looks at the AL batting title race with Xander Bogaerts reclaiming the lead over Judge after having a two-hit game Saturday.
As always, the show ends with the mental health minute!
