The head of the International Chamber of Shipping has told the BBC that one in five commercial ships are now avoiding the Red Sea because of the threat of attack.

The longer journey around Africa can add anything from one to two weeks to a vessel’s journey.

We speak to the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), which represents over half of the two million seafarers worldwide.
