'Real opportunity': Disability RC Chair reacts to govt response

Disability advocates have reacted with dismay to the Government's official response to the Disability Royal Commission, after the federal government accepted just 13 of the report's 222 recommendations in full. 

But the Chair of the Royal Commission, Ronald Sackville told RN Breakfast that "transformative change doesn't happen overnight", and suggests that the response should be regarded as a "real opportunity" to achieve the Commissions recommendations - with persistent advocacy.
