Michigan football won, 51-7, in the season opener against Colorado State, and what we saw was mostly very, very good. The defense perhaps surprised (though not too much if you listen to or watch this show) by being dominant at the point of attack and all over the field. We break down that side of the ball before moving to offense, where Cade McNamara had what can only be described as a catastrophic start, at least for him personally, as he battles J.J. McCarthy for the starting job. We break down the offensive side and why we were apathetic about the attack there. Then, why we weren't at all impressed by Ohio State in its win over Notre Dame.
