It’s a meeting of minds on today’s episode of Ramble Meets… as Luke sits down with writer, broadcaster and Liverpool fan Rick Edwards!

Rick can trace his fandom back to "picking the red team” in the 1986 FA Cup final aged six, and Liverpool Football Club has remained a significant pillar in his life ever since. He joins Luke in the studio to discuss his passion for football that has followed him since standing on the terraces at Molineux with his dad, right up to to being left distraught when Liverpool lost the 2018 Champions League final. They also talk more generally about football’s reflection of society, the club vs country debate and how it seems men only feel comfortable expressing emotion while in a football crowd.

You can purchase Rick's new book: 'Hollywood Wants to Kill You - The Peculiar Science of Death in the Movies' here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hollywood-Wants-Kill-You-Peculiar/dp/1786496925
