It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio has been recorded, edited into a masterpiece, and ready to get you set for the weekend. This week, we looked at which Oilers prospects have us most excited, Reverse Retro jersey winners and losers, spoke to Lali Toor from APNA Hockey about winning the Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s podcast, we got started with a conversation about the Oilers prospects that are playing over in Europe, specifically which ones we're the most excited about. Whether it's Broberg, Bouchard, Lavoie, or anyone else, there are some important prospects that are getting some quality minutes over in Europe right now and it's been fun to watch many of them have some success. Changing gears, we looked at Jujhar Khaira's spot in the lineup and whether or not his ability to kill penalties will be enough to keep him in the lineup on a nightly basis. From there, we looked at the Reverse Retro jerseys that were released earlier in the week and picked our winners and losers from around the NHL. With the picks locked in, I also made the boys say nice things about their jersey losers to add a small dose of positivity to the podcast. Back to the dark side, we looked back at one of the strangest week's in Oilers history that came in 2018 after Peter Chiarelli both traded Ryan Strome for Ryan Spooner and fired Todd McLellan, replacing him with Ken Hitchcock. Lastly, we were thrilled to welcome Lali Toor from APNA Hockey to talk about the upcoming plans for the organization, what it means to win the Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award, and a whole lot more.
