A beneficiary advocate says young jobseekers need to be inspired to develop their confidence and capabilities, and that simply cannot be done over the phone. The Ministry of Social Development is moving to a phone-based case management system for jobseekers aged 18-to-24 years old. It started with 1500 people in July, and would include 4000 within two months. Beneficiary advocate Kay Brereton spoke to Corin Dann.
