Later today, the United Nations General Assembly will vote on whether to recognise Palestine as a member of the body.  It'd be a significant step towards a two-state solution between Palestine and Israel.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong says "negotiation and discussion is ongoing" and the Government will ensure they're "responsible with what they commit to". She says it's not a question of if the government supports a two-state solution, "but a matter of when".
