It's been six months since the October 7 attack, and with more than 30,000 Palestinians killed and more than 1000 Israeli lives lost, Foreign Minister Penny Wong says "a two-state solution is the only hope to break the endless cycle of violence".

The Senator told RN Breakfast "peace, security for Israel will only be achieved if we have a Palestinian state alongside the Israeli state... I don't see, ultimately, any security for Israel without the issue of Palestinian statehood being resolved."
