Paula Akpan is a journalist and writer. She is also the co-creator of Black Girl Festival, an event created to amplify the voices and experiences of Black British women and girls through community based events. She has written for the likes of Teen Vogue, The Independent and VICE UK with work that centres around blackness, queerness and sexual & reproductive justice. Paula has also been listed as one of Forbes 100 Women Founders in Europe To Follow, and was on Elle’s 2019 game-changers list.
