The Nets capped off an excellent offseason by making a couple of Labor Day weekend moves in addition to the DeAndre Jordan trade. For starters, they signed Paul Millsap to a veteran minimum contract. It is a fantastic depth-builder in the front court where Millsap will bring veteran experience, the ability to score and stretch the floor as well. He is an excellent defender as well. Plus, they brought back LaMarcus Aldridge after he was medically cleared to once again play basketball.
