Manchester United legend Patrice Evra joined the Utd Podcast this week for an epic retelling of his incredible career.

From begging on the streets of Paris to lifting trophy after trophy at United, his emotional story had Helen Evans in tears at one point.

The Frenchman is as candid as you would expect about his arguments with managers, which rivals team he enjoyed beating the most, and how much he regrets leaving Man Utd for Juventus.

As this was a comprehensive look back on Patrice's career, we got his in-depth thoughts on the Luis Suarez racism incident in 2011.

The former United left-back also revealed how close he was to moving to Real Madrid, how he was inspired by Eric Cantona, and what Sir Alex Ferguson thinks of his Instagram posts these days.

The Utd Podcast team also read out your e-mails, so thank you to everyone who gets in touch. If you'd like to write to the only official Manchester United Podcast then e-mail utdpodcast@manutd.co.uk

We'd also love it if you could leave us a rating and review wherever you listen to your podcasts.
