CRAFT BEER PODCAST INFO: For the last 25 years, Dark Horse Brewing has gone hand in hand with Michigan Craft beer. From its humble beginnings to being one of the largest craft breweries in the state and country. From rumors to slander, from it’s fall and purchase by ROAK, and what the current outlook of the brand is today. We sit down in this three part series talking about the past with Aaron and Carlos, who have a combined 25 years of brewing at the facility. We sit with the present representing the ROAK purchase, addressing some of the rumors of their organization, their original aspirations, and what mistakes they’ve learned from. We finish episode three with the front of the house staff. Those whom have served beer on premise at the brewery for years, who have lived through the old guard, the ROAK buyout, and they give us a insight into the future they want to see for their organization, and also give us some tips on 4 Elf day, along with explain what it’s like managing such a massive party at their brewery.
