He pleaded with Yosef to take him as a slave instead, citing the fact that if he were to return home without Benyamin, his father would die of the pain and agony from the loss of his second son. At that point, Yosef could not restrain himself any longer. He asked all the Egyptians to leave the room, and he revealed his identity to his brothers: “I am Yosef! We find out why Yosef seemingly shifted the blame from his brothers to G-d. We learn the greatest power a human being has!
