Parshaperspective.com Our Parsha ends the origins of a family and begins the birth of a nation. The Torah starts by giving us context to the Jewish people's situation at that time. Yosef and all his brothers had passed on, and the new Pharoah forgot Yosef and all his accomplishments. We find out why Moshe led his sheep "after the desert". We learn what made Hashem choose Moshe to lead the Jewish people out of Egypt.
