Rose Paterson was a wife, a mother, chairman of Aintree racecourse, a champion of women in sport and a charity trustee. She was highly accomplished and well loved - and she was also struggling in silence with her mental health. Last summer she took her own life. Her husband, Conservative MP and former Cabinet minister, Owen Paterson and their daughter, Evie, join Christopher Hope to discuss how talking really can save lives, why it’s time to implement compulsory suicide awareness training and the very complex nature of suicide bereavement.
