For the last horror focused episode of Scream at the Screens the panel will be covering the latest horror movie release “Ouija: Origin of Evil”

But before that lets have some entertainment News. Seems there are several predictable or unpredictable sequels on the horizon.

“Edge of Tomorrow” is to have a prequel that will also be a sequel or like the director says, it will change how sequels are made. No idea what that even means….

The “DeadPool” sequel has hit some roadblocks as Director Tim Miller decides he can’t work with Ryan Reynolds. In the running for replacements are Drew Goddard (“Cabin in the Woods” and “The Martian”) and David Leitch (“John Wick”).

“Alien Covenant” the sequel to “Prometheus”/ prequel to “Alien” has dialed up the subtle genitalia like details of the aliens to almost vulgar levels. Honestly, what else is that picture of the face hugger supposed to make audiences think of?

Alien Covenant Images.

“Sherlock Holmes” is having another sequel, and one that no one asked for. With popular opinion that BBC’s version of Sherlock Holmes is a fan favorite, bringing back Robert Downey Jr. feels almost awkward, no matter how awesome he may be.

Scarlett Johansen and Jennifer Lawrence will both play in a biopic of Zelda Fitzgerald, a jazz age Icon, in two separate upcoming movies. The cast discusses who they think will do it better.

And ending this long news segment is the rumor that “The God Particle” produced by J.J. Abrams might very will be a “Cloverfield” Prequel.

Moving on to What We’re Watching: First off AstroPanda Productions has created a new podcast for HBO’s new series “Westworld” called Westworld Revisited. A great show for those who find themselves pondering the mysteries of the Man in Black and sexy robots long after the latest episode has ended. Find it at AstroPandaProductions.com.

American Horror Story has reminded us yet again why it’s rated MA as the gore and terror increases much to the sick pleasure of all its viewers

And for those who are living under a rock (say hi to Patrick), the premier of season 7 of “The Walking Dead” came in with a bang or better yet a wet crack as the long awaited reveal of Negan’s victim has come. It was intense and heartbreaking as several reaction videos demonstrate; the link below is a compilation to bring back all the feels.

For this weeks movie Ricardo, Tiffany and Wade watched “Ouija: Origin of Evil” and all agree that it lived up their horror movie expectations. It’s a movie about a mother and her two daughters who run a fortune telling scam out of their home but for a positive goal of closure for their customers. However, when the mother brings home a Ouija board as a new prop, they quickly realize the youngest daughter really does have the gift of speaking to the dead. Which inevitably leads to possession then horror.

The discussion continues with some spoilers and how Ouija tends to borrow from many of the horror classics without insulting the source material.

Overall the movie gains a throwback 7 Tasties, which means it’s definitely worth watching and adding to a home horror collection.

As for horror you can watch tonight the panel has their final October “What You Should be Watching”

Tiffany sands true to her love for Sci-Fi Horror and suggest the duo of “Alien” and “Aliens” Ricardo picks a Halloween favorite “Tales From the Hood” And Wade chooses the ever-appropriate “Halloween” for Halloween.

That brings the end to our month of horror October and November has an abundance of new releases to cover.

SATS’s line up: Nov 7th “Doctor Strange”, Nov 14th “Arrival”, Nov 21st “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” and Nov 28th “Moana”.
