At Trent University, some Ukrainian students cannot pay for tuition and housing as they struggle to access funds from back home. Ukraine put out a global call for people to come join its fight against Russia. And some Canadians are answering it. But what compels people to take up arms and fight....for a place to which they have no connection? The U-S is adding to its economic sanctions against Russia -- moving yesterday to ban oil and gas imports from the country. Reading is one of the ways we can experience another way of living. That's true for the issue of homelessness. Liz Coates from the Kingston Frontenac Public Library gave us some selections that may give you a new window on poverty and living with insecurity when it comes to housing. More than two million Ukrainians have fled their country since Russia invaded -- many of them...into neighboring Poland. That's where The Current's Matt Galloway is this week. CBC News has confirmed Ontario will later today drop the province's mask mandate as of March 21st. Is the province ready?
