Truckers driving across Canada to protest a vaccine mandate for cross-border trips are stopping in Peterborough, Cornwall and Kingston en route to Ottawa. The head of the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada shares why he thinks the protest has gone off the rails. Last spring the federal government launched a project to draft new national standards for long term care. Today the report will be released. The Kirtland’s Warbler was once native to Ontario, but the yellow-bellied bird hasn’t bred here for decades – and has since nearly gone extinct. That could all change soon. Restoration efforts are underway in Midhurst to help the population bounce back. An Ontario-based group called Moms at Work has just launched a new job board with the aim of increasing and normalizing pay transparency. The board will require all job postings to include salary range details to help combat the gender wage gap and support equitable employment opportunities. This is the last half hour of the last show on Wei's last day on the air. Before she retires she gets to be a GUEST on Ontario Morning. Jill Dempsey gets a jumpstart on filling in as host by interviewing...Wei! The last installment of Retro Replay. Find out why Murphy's Law featuring Megan Murphy in Peterborough is one of Wei's favourite interviews.
