Non-urgent medical procedures are starting to resume across the province, but the backlog created by COVID-19 has some wondering when we'll be able to catch up. There have been decades of declining ice cover on the Great Lakes. This year, about 40 percent of the lakes are frozen -- more than average. Three Peterborough city councillors were stripped of their portfolios in a preliminary vote last month – now the decision has been finalized. Six more weeks of winter or an early spring? It's a February question as old as time...or is it? We heard from the daughter of Mac McKenzie who founded the Groundhog Day celebrations in Wiarton. Without wetlands we face increased risk of flooding and drought due to climate change. To mark World Wetlands Day, we spoke with Descendants of Black settlers in Grey County are trying to keep the history of their ancestors alive ... and remind people of the important contributions being made by those still alive in the area. They're persisting, despite the fact that someone keeps stealing a landmark that's important to the community. Orpha Thrasher and Jasper Crealock-Marsh are 90 years apart in age. But both made a commitment to go on 100 walks for charity before their next birthday.
