Amid a week of Olympic successes, Team Canada enjoyed a new first as well. Jack Crawford -- who gew up skiing in the Blue Mountains -- brought home Canada's first ever medal in the Alpine Combined event. We spoke with Richard Long, his former coach and mentor. Are you hitting the snowy trails this weekend? We heard from the Executive Director of The Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba about getting into cross country skiing and what you need to know. With new Census data out -- Haydn Watters took us to the places where Ontario is growing -- and shrinking. The protest in Ottawa is entering its third weekend. So how long can this go on? The 46th Annual Elders and Traditional Peoples Gathering opens at Trent University this morning with a discussion on aging. Cliff Whetung from Curve Lake First Nation has made that the focus of his studies at NYU. Two months ago, a Black community activist in Barrie was targeted in a racist incident. Instead of daunting her, the experience fuelled her determination to advocate for people of colour. We heard more from local changemaker Shak Edwards as part of our series on Black leaders in our communities.
