In a long career as a lawyer specialized in helping prisoners win their release, retired lawyer John Hill says the corrections system bears more responsibility than prisoners for extending their sentences well past the parole date suggested by the judge. Young people in Pembroke will be given a unified voice with the inception of a new Youth Council.
