We may not yet be in a post pandemic world -- will we ever be, really? Last night a community discussion reflected on what living in THESE covid times means nowadays. This week, we heard from both the Chesley hospital CEO and the local mayor about what led to the 8-week ER closure and its impact. This morning, a nurse's perspective on the situation. The need for foster care for teens and children isn't new -- but the way a Simcoe Muskoka organization is recruiting new fosters IS. We heard about the realities, and the changes, in this much needed social support system. After last week's shooting deaths of two police officers, a private funeral service will be held this morning in Barrie. CBC reporter Ali Chiasson is on the scene and joined us from there this morning.
