This weekend a local pageant winner will be using her title and her platform to underline beauty and strength in disabilities. This morning we got to know Andreia Pacheco and her cause. It's unusual to see a flock of evening grosbeaks show up in Tiny Township at this time of the year....and now, one of them is getting even more attention from local birders because of an unusual, little seen feature. A research program at Queen's University gives older adults an opportunity to dance, sing and express their creativity....while giving a boost to their well-being. This Saturday the Barrie Public Library is hosting a new event that wants to showcase one of the many communities that they work with, local authors.
