For 45 years, volunteers at Telecare Peterborough have been taking calls 24/7 from fellow residents who need emotional support. This morning, we called a longtime volunteer and listened to her talk about the work and the impact in the community. In next week's municipal election, many voters will phone it in-- or use their computers and devices to vote. But not in Oro Medonte, where voters will have to vote in person. Mayor Harry Hughes explained why The Chesley Hospital has shut down its emergency room until December. Tonight the community gets to hear more about the situation, and respond.
