Global Legal Hackathon finalists Jakub Szypulka, Pierre-Falk Matthäs, Sebastian Reiling, Marcel Fischer, Henning Böttcher, and Lisa Käde of Team VIZ.LAW join host Laurence Colletti in this edition of On The Road. They discuss their backgrounds and roles on the team and talk about how they came together to form VIZ.LAW. They specialize in translating the complex web of citations connecting laws and caselaw into a visual network of court decisions and laws relevant to legal professionals, allowing them to see both the bigger picture and the detailed connections of specific court decisions.

Jakub Szypulka is a jurist, software engineer, and polyglot.

Henning Böttcher a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where he is working on a PhD thesis in financial and civil law.
