A few years ago, Vogue dating columnist Annie Lord experienced her very first heartbreak. He was the love of her life, they'd been together five years, and he broke up with her after dinner and drinks at Kings Cross station. Annie is diving back into all that pain to take a forensic look at how she overcame heartbreak. With the help of close friends, family, and American psychotherapist Orna Guralnik from the TV show Couples Therapy, Annie explores the deeper meaning of a broken heart. Is love worth risking all that pain? Why do we always seem to cry on public transport? And should she do it all over again? If you’ve ever experienced a broken heart, this is for you. Producer: Eliza Lomas Executive producer: Alice Lloyd Sound mixer: Olga Reed An Orion Publishing Ltd production for BBC Radio 4.
