The country's first Olympic gold medal is now back in Aotearoa after its recovery from an Australian sock drawer. More than 110 years after being awarded to swimmer Malcolm Champion at the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games, the medal was returned by an Australian donor. New Zealand Olympic Committee chief executive Nicki Nicol spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
