We’re less than two weeks away from the start of the NHL season and that means the boys have plenty to talk about on the brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talkin’ about Rick’s new job, handsome Jay Woodcroft, hitting the halfway point of the pre-season, and anything else we can think of from Oilers training camp.

To kick off this week’s podcast, we got this week’s show started with a conversation about Dylan Holloway and what we expect from him this season now that he's been named the 2022 winner of the Ty Rattie Award. Even though he's ripped it up in tune-up time, is it fair to expect him to contribute at a high rate in his first NHL season? Sticking with Holloway, we looked at the debate that kicked off on Twitter about whether Jesse Puljujarvi and Dylan Holloway are competing for spots and if there's room for both on this roster. We also looked at Jake Virtanen being cut from his PTO after what I'd personally describe as a very lacklustre training camp from a guy whose career is hanging on by a thread. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers.
