Here we are on yet another playoff-less Friday afternoon with a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio to get you set for the weekend while also working through what needs to happen for our beloved Oilers over the next couple of months.   Kicking off episode 100, we jumped in with a look at Mark Spector's article that essentially has Jesse Puljujarvi pegged for an Edmonton Oilers return with the former fourth overall pick apparently set to come back for training camp in the fall. Now, to be fair, Spector never makes any guarantees that Puljujarvi will be coming back, but he certainly suggests that it seems more likely than not based on the conversations he's had with both sides of the matter. With Puljujarvi potentially back in the mix, we looked at where he might fit into the roster and what his future with the franchise could look like. Changing gears, we looked at what to expect for the 2020-21 season and whether or not everyone believes that the NHL will be able to make the season happen without trapping everyone in a bubble. We also looked at a trio of organizational players that will be making their way to play in Sweden to start off the upcoming season and we wondered whether or not more names will follow as guys look for a place to play while waiting for life to normalize a little bit. Changing gears, we looked at some of the latest Oilers rumours that are circulating social media and whether or not any of them make any sense. From defensive upgrades to the need for competent goaltending, there is no shortage of Oilers rumours right now and we did our best to make sense of them all.
