Happy Friday, everybody! As we do every week, we wrapped up a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to offer you all of the Oilers takes and news you could ever hope to have as we head into the weekend. This week, we looked at the Oilers’ back-to-back wins, discussed Tyson Barrie's future with the club, and spoke to TSN's Frank Seravalli about what the Oilers might be doing at the deadline, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off today’s episode, we jumped in with a look at Tyson Barrie and whether or not we think Ken Holland will sign the d-man to an extension after what has been a very impressive season so far. It goes without saying that Barrie is having an incredible season so far but it is fair to question whether or not the Oilers should shell out for a new deal for the soon to be 30-year-old defenceman. From there, we welcomed Frank Seravalli to the podcast to take us behind the scenes on what Ken Holland might be working on as we draw nearer to the Trade Deadline. Will the Oilers be buying? Will they stand pat? Frank had the answers. Next up, we looked at the standings and took some way too early looks at which teams we think will miss out on a top-four slot and thus the postseason. Obviously, with more than 20 games left to play things can change a whole lot, but that didn't prevent us from taking a few swings anyway. Lastly, we finished up with a discussion about fighting in the NHL as well as questioning whether or not we'll see Dylan Holloway with the big club before the season is through.
