Submit ReviewAnother Friday has landed on your calendar and that means the boys are back with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help make sense of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s podcast, we’re talking about this recent skid the team is on, depth-scoring woes, Philip Broberg being recalled from Bakersfield, and a whole lot more.
Kicking off today's podcast, we got started with a Black Friday-themed delicious debate that revolved around what we would buy for the Edmonton Oilers in a hypothetical scenario. In a 2-for-1 BOGO scenario, Tyler then asked which Oilers players we would give a passing grade at the quarter mark of the season, and whether or not it's realistic to expect improvement from those that are straggling behind. From there, we looked at some possible trades that could help improve the roster and whether any of the available names would be worth the cost of acquisition. Sticking with the roster, we looked at Philip Broberg being recalled this morning in favour of Markus Niemelainen and whether or not Broberg will be able to help turn things around. From there, we dove into some of the silly overreactions that are coming about as a result of the Oilers having a .500 record after 20 games. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers.
