The mill closed in 2020 after then premier Stephen McNeil decided it would no longer be allowed to dump effluent near the Pictou Landing First Nation. We hear from Region of Queens Municipality Mayor Darlene Norman and Chief Andrea Paul, who led the fight against Northern Pulp.
