Submit ReviewGet ready because this week we have interesting facts, secret societies and one on one chats full of "sick burns" this week. Zane brings a podcast that takes a leaf out of QI's book called There's No Such Thing As A Fish, Liz uncovers a charming fictional tale of a secret organisation that helps desperate people fake their deaths, and Patrick brings the interview stylings of Michael Malice to the table with the seemingly-grammatically-incorrect-but-actually-not-incorrect-at-all podcast, Your Welcome.
Liz Recommends - The Amelia Project
"Congratulations. You’ve reached The Amelia Project. This phone call isn’t happening. If you’re not serious about this, hang up. Now." So begins The Amelia Project, a fictional podcast that's equal parts charming and intriguing. "The Amelia Project offers a very special service: Faking its clients' deaths! Its eccentric clientele includes cult leaders, scientists and politicians, all desperate to disappear and start over... But for how long can the secrecy last?"
The show is written and directed by Philip Thorne and Øystein Ulsberg Brager and follows the unnamed Interviewer as he asks his clients why they need to escape and plans how to get them off this mortal coil... at least on paper.
Make sure you listen to the preludes in between each episode, as even though they seem light and fluffy they can sometimes contain important information about the case to follow. Plus the contain descriptions of hot cocoa from Le Deux Margots in Paris that made Liz drool, so there's that.
For both: Start from the start and listen to the prelude eps as well. Ep 5, Percy was Liz's favourite and made her snort laugh out loud in her car.

Pat Recommends - Your Welcome with Michael Malice
https://gasdigitalnetwork.com/gdn-show-channels/your-welcome/
Michael Malice is a media personality, columnist, and an author; best known for his book Dear Reader: The Unauthorized Autobiography of Kim Jong Il. He's an anarchist, a wisecrack, a troll, and my best friend. Every week he'll throw up an episode (a bit like how we do) that consists of a conversation with a guest. There's no real rhyme, reason, theme or, thyson. There is a bit. They're largely political. Something new and different from Patrick.

Zane Recommends - No Such Thing as A Fish
https://audioboom.com/channel/nosuchthingasafish
No Such Thing as a Fish is a weekly British podcast series produced and presented by the researchers behind the BBC Two panel game QI. In it each of the researchers, collectively known as "The QI Elves", present their favourite fact that they have come across that week. The most regular presenters of the podcast are James Harkin, Andrew Hunter Murray, Anna Ptaszynski and Dan Schreiber, although other QI researchers also make appearances, and there are guest presenters on some episodes.
