Ford and Brenda of Turning Waters Back Alley Brewing Co. visit Corey and Ira in studio to talk about their journey of opening a (very) small brewpub in Wabasha, Minnesota. They talk about the history and character of the area and space (including the homage to “Grumpy Old Men” lore), Ford and Brenda’s creative side when developing with recipes, and they enjoy the conversation over several delicious beers from the Turning Waters. Oh, and they discuss Ford and Brenda’s decision to carry well-known and coveted beer from other breweries, as well as wine and cider.

Corey and Ira also are treated with a bevy of beer samples this show, including two offerings from Bald Man Brewing, Summit Brewing’s new 120 Shilling Export Scotch Ale, and Waconia Brewing Company’s new barrel-aged Imperial Blackberry Brandy Porter.
