BHL: Next – In this episode Black Hollywood Live hosts Megan Thomas, Kiki Ayers and Cortez West interview Keiana Richard and Desean Terry. Keiana Richàrd was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Her last name comes from her Louisiana roots (both parents being born and raised in Southern Louisiana). She attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she received her B.A. in Theatre Arts and her Minor in Business. While at UTK, she and a group of other black actresses played an integral part in creating more opportunities for minorities in the theatre department. She and four other ladies produced The Colored Museum by George C. Wolfe directed by Ka’ramuu Kush. This production set a precedent of inclusion for minorities in the Clarence Brown theatre department. She received her MFA from the prestigious University of California, San Diego. There she was able to hone her skills as an actress and work with some of the best artists in the country, including directors
