A paper released today in "Nature Reviews Earth and Environment" found that wind is carrying microplastics much faster than water, and it calls for a strategy of testing for microplastics world-wide that could lead to more effective prevention and management of plastic pollution. Host Jeff Douglas spoke with co-author Steve Allen, a researcher with the Ocean Frontier Institute at Dalhousie University.
