Today we want to tell you about a new Osiris podcast, and give you an update about a bunch of new episodes from across Osiris.

Groove Therapy with Joel Cummins. This new Osiris community podcast explores the crossover of music, health and wellness, and helps you live your best live every day. Hosted by Taraleigh Weathers and Dr. Leah Taylor. Today two episodes premiered, their pilot and an episode with their first guest, Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s McGee. Joel talks with Taraleigh and Leah about what he loves most about the live music experience and what he is doing to keep himself healthy and sane during times of COVID and quarantine. There's a snippet of this episode here, please subscribe to the podcast!

Strand of Oaks on JamBase Podcast. On a new episode of the JamBase Podcast, Andy Kahn caught up with Tim Showalter of Strand of Oaks. They talk about Tim’s recent move to Austin, his choice to stop drinking, his positive attitude toward the future, and the Strand of Oaks drive-in concert in May. They also talk about Tim’s appreciation for Phish and how much the weekly Dinner And A Movie broadcasts have meant to him. [Same for all of us!]

Japan 2000 on The Daily Soundcheck. This episode wraps up a four-part Japan 2000 series with guest Dave Calarco. They talk about the shows in more depth and the comedic soundcheck, with some great jamming and comedy from Trey.

Paul Stanley on The Tapes Archive. On this new episode, a never before heard interview with Paul Stanley of KISS from 1996. He talks with host Marc Allan about how the 1996 tour is going to be better than their 1974 shows, the familiarity of playing with his bandmates, his love for KISS fans, his thoughts on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and more. [KISS of course did get into the rock and roll hall of fame in 2014.]

Freaks Action Network Gives Grants to 25 Musicians. We told you a few weeks back about The Freaks Action Network Musicians Relief Fund, which was aiming to provide financial support to New York-based musicians. They announced this week that they awarded grants to 25 musicians, and they have some testimonials from some of those musicians. It was badly needed and it really helped. They’ll continue raising funds to help NYC-based musicians, and anyone interested can donate here.
