We have a lot of exciting announcements for today. Let’s get into it. 

1. Comes A Time Premiere. We’re proud to announce a brand new podcast, called Comes A Time, with Oteil Burbridge and Mike Finoia. As Oteil and Mike say, “In these strange days, when you think it can’t get any weirder, it does.” They’ll be talking to artists, comedians, activists and more to discuss where we are today, and where we go from here. This will be a weekly podcast that will be on video and audio. Today you can listen to their first episode, and tomorrow you’ll be able to watch or listen to episodes with Bob Weir, Melvin Seals and Mountain Girl. They have a bunch of awesome guests coming on in the near future.
2. Festival Circuit: New Orleans Finale. Today we’re releasing episode 5 of Festival Circuit: New Orleans. In this final episode, we wrap things up by looking at what the future holds for live music and jazz fest, how the music industry needs to change, and we pay tribute to some of the people who made New Orleans music what it is today.
3. Miles Davis on Late Era. In the second episode of this new show, the guys cover “Doo-Bop,” the last studio album by Miles Davis. It was recorded with hip hop producer Easy Mo Bee and released after he died, on June 30, 1992. The album was received unfavorably by most critics, although it won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Instrumental Performance the following year. Reviews included that it “succeeded only in fits and starts,” so Sam, Andy and Winston take a fresh look at this odd album.
4. Lonely Trip on Helping Friendly Podcast. On this new episode, Brad and I got to record together in person and review Lonely Trip, the 15-song quarantine album that has provided us with a ton of great new music, and a lot to dig into and discuss. We went song by song, discussing the music and lyrics, the influences, and we tell some stories along the way. 
5. Help Save Our Stages. We wanted to help plug the Save Our Stages movement, organized by the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA). If you visit their site, you can send pre-filled letters to your representatives and senators about legislation in the House and Senate that would help ensure the survival of live performance venues across the nation.
