Earlier this week new laws were introduced into Afghanistan restricting the rights and freedoms of women.

Under the Taliban's vice & virtue laws, women's voices and faces have been banned in public spaces in an effort to avoid temptation or tempting others. 

The rules have sent a shockwave across the world, raising questions of how this can be ethical or legal?

We find out what can be done, if anything, to claw back the rights of women in Afghanistan.
