Welcome back everybody to the nerdschatting podcast!

As you know, we gather around every two weeks or so and talk about the latest cool movie, TV show, comic, book or game that everyone is watching or reading or playing. However sometimes, we like to take a look at those nerdy things that came before.

Over the last two weeks, we have had a chat about Strange Days, and Split Second.

This week, Nerdschatting Presents Akira!

This podcast is a FULL SPOLIER CHAT - so watch the movie first, then listen.

Set in a dystopian 2019, Akira tells the story of Shōtarō Kaneda, the leader of a biker gang whose childhood friend, Tetsuo Shima, acquires incredible telekinetic abilities after a motorcycle accident, eventually threatening an entire military complex amidst chaos and rebellion in the sprawling futuristic metropolis of Neo-Tokyo.
